Henry Diltz Unboxes CSN&Y: Love the One You're With #Photography #LimitedEdition
With their unique vocal blend and a musical approach that ranged from acoustic folk to melodic pop to classic rock, supergroup CSN&Y created some of the most beloved songs of the Sixties and Seventies. The story of one of the world’s most famous vocal harmony groups has been one of extremes: sublime musical chemistry and creative conflict, break ups, make ups and reunions, and solo endeavours. Throughout, their enormous cultural impact has remained inarguable.
Documenting it all from the band’s very beginning was renowned rock photographer, Henry Diltz. A fellow musician and a friend, his camera has captured CSN&Y through five decades of collective and individual milestones. With an introduction by Graham Nash and Stephen Stills, and presenting Henry Diltz’s remarkable CSN&Y archive, Genesis is delighted to announce CSN&Y: Love the One You’re With - a celebration of the band and its individual members, documented through 835 photographs and 58,000 words from 20 contributors.

Faces 1969-75 Book Launch Interview with Authors Ronnie Wood and Kenney Jones
Sorry. I've never been a fan of Ron Wood. Offering a comment as a lifelong Stones fan, Mick Taylor was by far the very best guitarist they ever had. In fact, Taylor's virtuoso guitar playing helped cement the Stones' enduring reputation. Wood has never and will never be in the same league as Mick Taylor.
mick taylor was better than brian jones?
Whispering Bob !!!
what year was this?
Cadê a tradução?
baby i am amazed ......................
I was lucky enough to see Faces twice. Truly a fantastic band. Anybody who calls them a bar band has never paid attention.
*Wanna See A Match Burn Twice?* 🔥 Engine Search the *Black Crowes* after this performance! 🎸 Smart move on the *Black Crowes* part to immulate *Faces!.* Around 1975, *Ronny Wood* started playin' w/ *Stones!* (Full Circle) *Rod Stewart* slaughters *Mick Jagger* on Lead Vocals tho! ...Hey!... *"I know! It's only Rock-&-Roll but I like it!*
I wish Klaus was picked to do the cover for The Beatles 'Now And Then.'
Wow , legends of an era of musicians that can not be duplicated 👍👍👍👍👍👍
He would sing about injustice and corruption, but of which have grown exponentially.
Cuando niño vi la portada me impresionó, siempre la recordare , creo tenía 5 años, involucraba tantas cosas que uno no podía asimilar. Una portada asombrosa llena de simbolismo
Great pics
Mas conocidos,,,,los Stones.Mas musicos ...The Who.Son otra cosa.
the most underrated guitar player of the century. the man has an unbelievable sense of taste
Always liked The Faces version of a great Paul McCartney song.
Loved the first Jeff Beck album with Ron Wood on bass.
Jimmy page is my favorite guitar player and always will be 👍👍😁✌️
Mick Taylor?
Very underrated player.
#JimmyPage was in #Genesis with #PhilCollins? Kooool!!! @01:20 I wish my passport photo looked that koool.
The stones and faces .. interchangeable
Journeyman. Understated not underrated. Elusive rockstar more impactful than most will ever know. He’s walked into many rooms and walked out having been a part of gigantic things. But obviously for him, it was just doing what he loves and applying his unique savvy. If Keith Richards respects him, he’s f**king respectable. Lol
I like the guy. Love many songs he was a part of. Cool swagger that he’s still emanating. Having seen one of his exhibits in Lahaina Maui, I was floored by his painting as well and he straight produces beautiful art poignant to his life and all the people he’s found impactful. Certainly not pieces I could afford, but the experience to see them was wonderful. Sorry if I stole any prints of the internet mr wood. I did it to Salvador Dali too. Lol
I’m also sorry so many records I bought of your great music were lps 4/$1 at my favorite second hand store. Oh and those cassettes off the radio. Then the free downloading. Man I feel horrible I’m so frugal. Lol
Where's Rod?😂
❤
So many people know so little about Ronnie outside of the Stones, He has been such a well known and loved person in the field, by everyone. Just a wonderful guy, extremely accomplished, he also has impeccable taste in design, decor, art, an accomplished artist as well. So involved in music, writing, producing, promoting, etc.. For anyone interested, who just never knew, I seriously recommend reading up on his life. I've met him a few times/been around him and he is just a purely, genuinely lovely man. There isn't a single sole who doesn't light up the moment they see him, and greatly appreciate being a friend/acquaintance.
Eventually I'll end up buying this book... I'm too much of a fan not to... It just seems kinda weird to me though... I mean his music speaks so much louder, to me, about Jimmy Page, than any book can... I'll probably read it once and then never touch it again... Conversely, I've listened to all Zeppelin, Firm, Yardbirds albums over and over throughout the years... I can't count (seriously I have no idea, but it has to be hundreds) the times I've seen The Song Remains the Same... ...and I'll be going back to the music until the day I die... Get what I mean?? The book just ain't gonna give any deeper understanding than what he's already communicated with his artistry!
So modest even though he is one of the gifted guitarists. his solo on Maggie may and few other songs is classic. still have the ticket stubs from early 70s at MSG seeing him with Faces it was unbelievable amazing fun show. so much positive energy.
The Who is the most POWERFUL R&R BAND OF ALL TIME!!!
iron maiden is
@@leonelshout1964 you got no fucking clue
Bob Harris pretending to be interested.
There shouldn't have been any rivalry, they're all one big happy Tavistock family.
Bob, trying to appear interested.
The missing piece here is Ronnie Lane.
I think it's unfortunate Richie Blackmore isn't included with the greats. He's as talented as any one of these guys.
There are so many guys that get missed, Ritchie is one of the glaringly obvious ones though
Because Richie wasn't as prominent in the studio scene at the time, and he wasn't as socially fluid. He was quiet, shy, and his sense of humor was very dry and offbeat. He just wasn't a highly sought out studio musician, and he also didn't push for it. He was still known, and definitely respected, but so we're others who just never really took to the whole scene, it was a lot of "politics" involved industry wise. He still went on to build his own thing, I wouldn't say he has ever been ignored or "missed" as being labelled a legend, in fact quite the contrary, he just wasn't in the same club is all. Most of these gents never really speak of him because they never got to know him that well, other than his stigma which Richie has rather enjoyed.
Page is a legendary guitarist, talking sense and pleasant to listen to. Like Clapton. And then people think Richards is “something”. Richards doesn’t even come close to these two …
The worst thing to ever happen to the Stones.
Ronnie? Oh come on. Sure, there was Brian, creative genius destined to burn; and Mick Taylor, greatest lead slide guitar player of all time; but Ronnie's got licks and soul, and he's Keith's bro. Chemistry my man. Some Girls is right up there with the golden era.
@@erictrenbeath9680 I guess you are not a stones fan...
Don't be disrespectful to ronnie
Unfortunately, The Who has never been topper-most-of-the-popper-most single-wise. Great mate. Good story though.
He's such a good guy
This is a great book, informative and fantastic pictures, I wish mine was signed. ❤❤❤
a vanity book by lazy page
@@roywatson8133 obvious you don't know much about music, this man worked had his whole life, a self taught guitarist, from an early age he became the most wanted session player, learnt how to write music, was in the most biggest band in the world he produced all his and others work, remastered and designed there albums. I wouldn't call him lazy.
@@Lynne011000 since he played with the black crowns in 2000 you can count on one hand the number of times hes been back on stage no new music bit of a dissapointment i would say

olivia is a good woman, i love her so much. ❤
The Rolling Stones are a very talented band, no doubt about that. But The Who are vastly superior in their musical output. It's no contest.
The Who really managed to keep their sound pretty fresh throughout the 70s while the Stones kind of stagnated.
Sometimes the raw lets you appreciate the refined.
